Mary Ann Zevetchin, age 90, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at The Pines at Glens Falls Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, with her loving family by her side.
Born on April 17, 1935, in New York, New York, she was the cherished daughter of the late Andrew Zevetchin and Anna Drzik.
Mary Ann dedicated many years of her professional life to Travelers Insurance, where she served as an Assistant Manager. She was respected by her colleagues for her strong work ethic, dependability, and kind spirit. Beyond her career, Mary Ann had a deep love for travel and found great joy in exploring the beauty of the United States. Her journeys created lasting memories and reflected her adventurous and appreciative nature.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Mary Ann was a devoted and active member of St. Clement's Church in Saratoga Springs. She generously gave of her time and talents, serving faithfully in many capacities, from assisting with church duties to supporting the spiritual growth and care of others, especially children. Her quiet acts of service and unwavering devotion to the Lord left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
Mary Ann is survived by her beloved her sister, Helen Scalo; her brother, Andrew P. Zevetchin Jr. (Theresa); nephews; Andrew Scalo (Renee), Edward Scalo, and Stephen Zevetchin; nieces; Carolyn Zevetchin Gerrity (Michael), and Maureen Macy; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory and miss her gentle presence.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Compassionate Funeral Care, 402 Maple Ave., Saratoga Springs, NY, followed by a graveside service at St. Peter's Cemetery, 150 West Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York.
Mary Ann will be remembered for her deep faith, her loving heart, and her quiet strength. She lived a life of devotion, kindness, and grace, and her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
