Eleanor M. DeGrasse

Eleanor M. DeGrasse, aged 97, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at Saratoga Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 23, 1926, in Schuylerville, NY, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Phillip LeClare and Alexina Menard LeClare. She dedicated six decades of her life to being a self-employed housekeeper.

Eleanor is survived by her sons, Victor DeGrasse (Sue), Marcel DeGrasse, and Karl DeGrasse, as well as her daughters, Luchan DeGrasse, Denise DeGrasse, Roseann DeGrasse, and Mary DeGrasse, and her loving nieces and nephews. She leaves behind a legacy of seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and numerous friends who will forever cherish her gracious spirit.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Arthur DeGrasse and Michael DeGrasse as well as her siblings.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at Notre Dame Cemetery, 115 Burgoyne Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Eleanor can be made to Saratoga Hospital, 211 Church St, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866.
