Patricia Jackson, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital. She was 84 years old.
Born on February 11, 1940, in Ballston Spa, NY, Patricia was the daughter of the late Lester and Marion Caldwell. She spent her life surrounded by loved ones, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories.
Patricia dedicated herself to creating a nurturing home as a devoted housewife. She found joy in the simple pleasures of company and warm cooking, always welcoming friends and family with open arms.
Beyond her domestic life, Patricia shared a passion for racecars with her beloved husband, Daniel. Together, they indulged in the exhilarating world of racing, pouring their hearts into their shared hobby. Patricia's artistic talent shone as she adorned their racecars with intricate artwork, infusing each vehicle with personality and flair. Their cherished 1973 Corvette became a symbol of their shared enthusiasm, a vessel for countless adventures and cherished moments together.
Patricia's affection for animals knew no bounds; she had a heart of gold, always extending kindness to strays and ensuring they were cared for, especially her favorite chipmunk. Among her furry friends, her cherished companion was her American Bulldog, Nitro, who brought boundless joy into her life as her faithful and constant companion.
Their racing escapades took them to various tracks, from the South Glens Falls Drag strip to the Lebanon Valley Speedway and mud races in New York. Known far and wide as the owners of "Mr. Fudpucker," their truck's legendary name became synonymous with their passion and dedication to the sport.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Jackson, their son Mark Daniel Jackson, daughter Sheri Jackson, brother Gary Caldwell, grandson Nicholas Companion, and a multitude of friends who were touched by her gracious spirit and unwavering kindness.
